Outstanding Service We recently moved into a new house and found out that the laundry room only had plugs for the washer/dryer. (Seriously? Where are we supposed to iron?) We called Douthit Electrical to have outlets put in to our laundry room. When they showed up, they were clean and well dressed. Very professional. The work was done quickly and cleanly. I couldn't even tell anyone had been doing work in my laundry room. Everything was clean when they left. The plugs looked like they'd been there since the house was built. Mr. Douthit even stayed around after the work was done to answer any questions I had and talk to me about future improvements I had in mind for the house. I would highly recommend Douthit Electrical to anyone.

We've lived in our home for almost 17 years. During those years we've needed electrical services due to improper wiring when the house was built, (imagine that, how did it pass original inspection?!). After using several other electricians we finally called Douthit Electrical. The service we received, from the person scheduling our appointment to the completion of the work, was OUTSTANDING!!! The gentleman that assessed our needs, Darren, was committed to making sure he covered all areas of our concerns. During the inspection, Darren discovered several other critical issues that had to be addressed. We had multiple outlets that were not covered with GFI protection, (Ground Fault Indicators). An outlet in our kitchen, (that had rarely been used), had stopped working (reason for our call to Douthit). The wires to the outlet had burned due to not being attached to a GFI. Darren was not able to complete the work that afternoon because he discovered more problems than we had called about. However, he made sure he secured everything before leaving and promised to return the next day with all the equipment needed to make our home safe. Not only did he return as promised but he arrived on time and brought another technician, Jim, with him to help complete the work. Darren gave us a list of all the costs at the start of the work. That allowed us to know exactly what to expect. We asked Darren to leave extra business cards so we could share them with anyone that asked if we had an electrician we would recommend. We're thankful we have Douthit Electrical in our neighborhood!

I was remodeling my kitchen and needed some electrical help. I called Douthit and they are the only one's that would come out on short notice, with a reasonable rate. Daniel is the technician that came out to my house. He was very though and very helpful in helping me make decisions on what I needed to get accomplished in my kitchen. He was also friendly and a pleasure to talk with and did not make me feel intimidated at all. I am so glad I found this company because I will use them in the future and recommend them to everybody.

Darren came out to the house and did an awesome job and possible saved our house from a future disaster. House was hit by lightneing and Darren came out to assess the damage... he was very knowledgable and very thorough. He found a breaker that was overheating and we decided to replace it that day. Might just have saved us, our dogs and our house from the "F" word...(fire). Thank you very much for doing such a great job - we will be a return customer.

I find it refreshing to have get what I pay for! I've worked with several other companies in the past and had a hard time getting people to show up when they said they would and especially not make a mess when they did show up! I called for an issue that my wife has had with our home having real dark areas in our kitchen and they showed up on time gave us a price and had the equipment to do the job. I was very comfortable with the tecknician. I went to work. I then came home to a briliant wife and kitchen! Thankyou!

I would highly recommend Douthit Electrical. When my house was struck by lightning, I needed help fast. Douthit Electrical was very prompt and their technicians were very knowledgeable. They did a complete diagnostic of my house, determined what areas needed to be fixed and took care of everything in a timely manner. The technician I worked with was very friendly and answered any questions I had.

Overall, I was very pleased with the service I received and I will use Douthit Electrical again for any future needs I may have.

I've had Douthit Electrical to my house twice and they do a fantastic job. One of the main reasons I've had them back is Todd Wheeler who did my work both times. Todd is very friendly and the type of electrician you want in your house. Good experience and helpful with solutions. Next time we need another electritian, we will certainly call Douthit Electrical once again.

Their same-day service is a winner! Knowledgeable technicians, creative approach to solving my lakeside electrical needs. Looks past the obvious to help you work out what you really need. It is very refreshing to get the service done on the first visit rather than facing "we will call you back within 48 hours to schedule your service for sometime next week between 8 and 5 if a service tech is available and if he can somehow find the parts somewhere between now then."

Good work is done for a fair price, followed by excellent clean-up after the project is completed.

They are definitely my choice for electrical work in the Lake Norman/Mooresville area.

Same cheerful service whether the job is big or small.
